Peter Scholtes
Peter Scholtes died peacefully in his home the morning of July 11, 2009, surrounded by his family. During the last few months of his life he suffered from numerous strokes. This website honors his life’s work, his memory and the great contributions he made. Click here to read his Obituary.
Peter Scholtes was an internationally known author, lecturer and consultant and the recipient of numerous awards such as the Deming Medal and the Ishikawa Award. He was also the author of several books including The Leader’s Handbook: Making Things Happen, Getting Things Done and The Team Handbook.
During the later years of his life, Peter Scholtes selected Kelly Allan to carry on his work. Kelly and his nationwide group of associates bring to organizations Peter’s concepts and theories on management, leadership and teamwork. A NOTE FROM KELLY ALLAN
Peter Scholtes was one of the most important people in my life –and still is for that matter because of the many profound gifts of spirit and intellect he gave to me –and to us all. I had the great pleasure to talk with Peter about every two weeks during the past decade. His unflagging interest in improving the world, his outrage with injustice, and his sense of humor were a part of almost every conversation.
